Applicants may apply to both the Canada: ALS 2016 Rapid Response program and Canada: ALS 2016 Transformational Research program. |

· Seed funding for novel, high-risk, high-reward research · Up to $150,000 and 18 months per project · Preliminary data is optional · Principal Applicants must be at the level of Postdoctoral Fellow or higher · Applicants can only appear once as either the Principal Applicant or the Administrative Supervisor |
· Larger, longer grants that significantly advance preclinical research · Up to $1.5 million and 3 years per project · Must have excellent preliminary data · Principal Applicants must be at the level of Assistant Professor or higher |
