IC-IMPACTS and the Government of India’s Department of Science and Technology (DST) are seeking proposals from joint Canada-India teams, to support collaborative research projects in the Infrastructure sector. Projects may be of a duration of 12-24 months.
IC-IMPACTS and DST are partnering to support innovative research in Smart and Green Buildings for Sustainable Cities, with the aim of devising world-leading clean technologies and novel approaches to create more sustainable infrastructure. Areas of focus include:
·        Structural performance of buildings, including earthquake resistance
·        Innovative building materials with low carbon footprint
·        Thermal, acoustical and lighting comfort in buildings
·        Buildings and human health
·        Buildings and energy conservation
·        Buildings and water conservation
·        Building Infrastructures and Internet of Things (IoT)
