The Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute currently has open competitions for its grants and awards. »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ faculty may be particularly interested in the following opportunities:
• : Funding to support collaborative research initiatives between Indian and Canadian institutions, entailing mobility as well as capacity building of scholars/researchers between India-Canada. Grants are in the amount of $6,000; work is expected to take place between November 2015 and June 2016.
• : Assists scholars to participate in conferences and academic meetings through travel subsidies; Canadians may travel to India, and vice versa. Grants of $1,000 towards airfare are available; travel should take place between late October 2015 and June 2016.Â
