was formed by three Dal students/graduates (Shea Kewin, Management; Bob Garris, Engineering; and Chris Cowpersmith, Neuroscience/Computer Science). The three met in Dal’s Starting Lean Program and created the start up to develop new knee bracing technologies that will reduce pain and increase mobility and performance.
Spring Loaded is Nova Scotia’s only finalist in a national entrepreneurship competition run by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). The winner of the competition will receive $100,000. This will help Spring Loaded complete a three-year R&D process in taking their product to market.
Voting closes June 17th and when we last checked Spring Loaded was second. Please take two minutes to for Spring Loaded.
Spring Loaded success in the competition will help put Dal on the map as the go-to-place for talent and innovation.
